In this role you will:
Supporting the WebBeds Health and Safety programme, the role holder will be required to identify, monitor and improve health and safety issues across the WebBeds accommodation suppliers.
To be responsible for all aspects of managing the health & safety audits in line with the company policy.
To work closely with the health and safety services providers and support the Health & Safety Manager in issue resolution
Undertaking hotel risk assessment against recognised industry standards and WebBeds' safety requirements
Liaise with hotel partners by email and phone to resolve promptly any nonconformity
Daily management of the mailbox
Where necessary, liaise with the Contracting/Purchasing department regarding audits and
nonconformities as per company policy and procedure
Ensure that all information is stored and recorded as per relevant procedures
Any other task that management may reasonably request
Three-month probationary period with objectives
Number of audits sent out/follow-up as requested by the management within the given timeframe
Number of properties made suitable for Sales every month
Annual End of Year Review Skills we'd love to see in your suitcase:
Health and Safety work experience/knowledge
Experience working in the travel industry (travel operators/hotels)
- Fluency in English, both written & spoken
ticketing systems
Experience in managing and consolidating incoming administrative tasks
from multiple sources
Able to work independently as well as be a team player, always seeking to improve team performance
Proactive attitude, with the ability to seek solutions to issues
encountered
Ability to use multiple systems
Ability to organise, prioritise and manage tasks and meet deadlines
Adaptable to changes in day-to-day tasks and procedures
Strong communication skills
