We are looking for a reliable and experienced Head of Stewarding to lead our stewarding team at MR PORTER Barcelona. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of all kitchen operations. You will oversee the stewarding staff responsible for maintaining spotless kitchens, equipment, utensils, and dishware, while ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are strictly followed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the stewarding team (dishwashers and kitchen cleaners)Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are clean and ready for serviceOrganize staff schedules and daily dutiesMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and related materialsEnforce food safety and hygiene protocols at all timesCollaborate closely with the culinary and operations teamTrain, support, and motivate the team to maintain a productive and positive work environmentRequirementsProven experience as a Head of Stewarding or in a similar role in upscale restaurants or luxury hotelsStrong leadership and team management skillsHigh attention to cleanliness, organization, and detailIn-depth knowledge of hygiene and safety regulationsProactive, hands-on, and responsible work attitudeBased in Barcelona and legally eligible to work in SpainFlexible availability (including weekends, evenings, and holidays)Basic knowledge of English or Spanish (ideally both)What We OfferA dynamic and international working environmentA young, motivated, and professional teamOpportunities for growth within a fast-growing hospitality groupStaff meals during shiftsCompetitive salary packageA beautifully designed workplace in the heart of BarcelonaReady to Join MR PORTER?
