As an IPT & VAT Officer, you will be working on a continuous challenging environment where you will have to provide the best services to your own international client portfolio and work hand in hand with the Accounting & Tax Account Managers, who will assist you and guide you along the way.Key Responsibilities
  • Assistance in completing VAT / IPT forms.
  • Ensuring there are funds on the bank account for the different payments.
  • Preparation and submission of Withholding Certificates including enveloping and labelling.
  • Assistance with the completion of forms + preparation and maintenance of supporting worksheets.
  • Assistance with the set-up of new clients.
  • Assisting with the management of bank accounts of new and old clients.
  • Contacts with Regional Tax Offices to find out procedures to register new clients registrations.
  • Assistance with Debt collection.
  • Preparing payments letters.
  • Collection and filing of notifications from the Tax Authorities.
  • Checking and maintenance of statistics control of IPT client (Insurance Compensation Consortium).
  • General support to VAT-IPT Department with documents, scanning, letters, etc.
Key Requirements
  • University Degree in Economics / Accounting or similar.
  • At least 6 months of experience in similar positions.
  • Knowledge about fiscal process of companies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Account balancing skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language, to be able to deal with international clients.
  • Skill and ability to perform the work both individually as in a team.
