- Develop and formulate Savory food prototypes (e.g., soups, sauces, snacks, ready meals, processed meat, meat analogues) using internal solutions.
- Optimize flavour and taste performance in targeted applications through bench trials and sensory evaluation.
- Conduct flavour/Naturals dosage and stability trials under various processing and storage conditions.
- Adjust formulations to meet customer-specific requirements such as clean label, vegan, halal/kosher, or allergen-free demands.
- Manage multiple projects in parallel with clear timelines and deliverables.
- Provide timely technical input and prototypes for customer briefs and innovation initiatives.
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of all trials, formulations, and results.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers during briefings, presentations, or co-creation sessions.
- Prepare and present prototypes for customer tasting panels and flavour demonstrations.
- Support Sales and Marketing with technical data and prototypes for business development.
- Provide technical assistance during industrial scale-up and commercialization.
- Work collaboratively with developer technologist to create a tailored flavour/taste solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, new raw materials, and processing techniques within the Savoury category.
- Contribute to sensory evaluations, internal tastings, and flavour mapping activities.
- Ensure all formulations comply with relevant food safety regulations, labelling requirements, and customer specifications.
- Follow good laboratory and manufacturing practices, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the application lab./ processed meat pilot plan.
- A degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in food product development, ideally within Savory categories (e.g., soups, snacks, ready meals, sauces, processed meat, or plant-based products).
- Previous experience in a flavour house or ingredient company is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of flavour application and functionality across diverse food matrices.
- Experience in flavour solution formulation is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in sensory analysis and familiarity with food processing techniques.
- Creative, hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits or pilot trials.
