
Project Engineer - Automotive Mechanical Components

- Ensure QCD convergence of mechanical components in alignment with external clients and internal project leads (CPO/CPa).
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project milestones using the JPOM methodology.
- Deliver key project documentation including CPP/CPTA dossiers, PQP milestone files, transfer packages, BOMs, and validation plans.
- Prepare and present monthly project progress reports, highlighting risks, critical issues, and corrective actions.
- Support the transition of projects into series production.
- Proven experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on mechanical components (GMP).
- Strong expertise in product/process design, feasibility analysis, and industrialization.
- Solid background in project management and transversal team coordination.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing, presentation, and negotiation.
- Technical knowledge of:
- Automotive project development frameworks (V3P, JPOM, ANPQP).
- Design-to-Quality standards (EQM, RTC/RCC, SDRM, BMIR).
- Problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, QC Story, PDCA).
- Engine systems, fuel consumption, emissions, thermodynamics, and subsystems (aftertreatment, electronics, sensors).
- Proficiency in collaborative and engineering tools: Office 365, SharePoint, SIGNE, One-View.
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities; structured and rigorous approach.
