Project Engineer - Automotive Mechanical Components

• Ensure QCD convergence of mechanical components in alignment with external clients and internal project leads (CPO/CPa).

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project milestones using the JPOM methodology.

• Deliver key project documentation including CPP/CPTA dossiers, PQP milestone files, transfer packages, BOMs, and validation plans.

• Prepare and present monthly project progress reports, highlighting risks, critical issues, and corrective actions.

• Support the transition of projects into series production.

• Proven experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on mechanical components (GMP).

• Strong expertise in product/process design, feasibility analysis, and industrialization.

• Solid background in project management and transversal team coordination.

• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

• Excellent communication skills, including report writing, presentation, and negotiation.

• Technical knowledge of:

• Automotive project development frameworks (V3P, JPOM, ANPQP).

• Design-to-Quality standards (EQM, RTC/RCC, SDRM, BMIR).

• Problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, QC Story, PDCA).

• Engine systems, fuel consumption, emissions, thermodynamics, and subsystems (aftertreatment, electronics, sensors).

• Proficiency in collaborative and engineering tools: Office 365, SharePoint, SIGNE, One-View.

• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities; structured and rigorous approach.
