- Manage a local team of 8 people
- Evaluate the risks associated with the business model and ensure appropriate procedures to mitigate them are implemented balancing business needs.
- Assist the operations department in adapting the business model to local regulations.
- Create and implement internal company policies in compliance with local labor regulations balancing business needs.
- Leadership in the labour strategy of the Group.
- Leadership in the definition in the Legal and People department of the labour relations strategy nationally and internationally.
- Management of the relationship, agreements and negotiations with the different Works Councils of the company.
- Compliance with all labour compliance (Equality Plan, Anti-harassment Protocol, etc).
- Escalate critical matters to senior management
- Get your hands dirty - when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it
- At least 10/12 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm
- Law Bachelor Degree. Technical specialization in labour and employment law
- Excellent English and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Expertise in analysis and implementation of strategy balancing business needs.
- Leadership and excellent people management skills. Proven ability to work in a multinational context.
- Proven experience working with senior management.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, high impactful scope, results-oriented, fast execution.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hardworking, problem solver, organized, energetic, proactive.
