In line with our strategic vision, we are strengthening our central teams based in Alcobendas, offering a hybrid, flexible, and inclusive work environment.We are currently looking for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our Advanced Analytics & AI team within the Data department.Mission of the RoleTo design, develop, and operationalize Generative AI solutions that create tangible business value. This role combines hands-on experimentation with cutting-edge AI technologies and the responsibility of bringing robust, scalable solutions into production.What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI models using Azure and Databricks (MosaicAI).
  • Rapidly prototype and test new GenAI use cases, frameworks, and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Data Science, IT, Business) to deliver both local and international AI projects.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of AI solutions in production environments.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our AI engineering best practices and MLOps pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in GenAI and actively share knowledge with the team.
What We Are Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG pipelines).
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Spark.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
  • Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
  • Experience with vector databases and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI practices and model evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in both local and international teams.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
Nice to Have
  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, AI, or related fields.
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or participation in AI communities.
