- Ensure internal policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to by all faculty and academic staff.
- Support relationships with local universities
- Follow up with Site Visit participants to increase enrollment at the Center when needed and/or requested
- Oversee and ensure the consistent enforcement of CEA CAPA’s code of conduct
- Report on a timely manner and maintain fluent communication with direct supervisor and CEA CAPA Headquarters
- Collaborate with other CEA CAPA units on the identification and adoption of best practices
- Supervise the development of academic calendars, courses scheduling, and co-curricular activities
- Collect and review working syllabi for each course prior to the start of each term, ensuring alignment with current CEA CAPA policies and submit to CEA CAPA Headquarters
- Ensure that all academic policies are followed in accordance with the School of Records guidelines
- Support Academic Director on all daily academic matters
- Attend regular conference calls and cross functional team meetings
- Help manage academic grievances and grade appeals
- Ensure that all syllabi are in compliance with UNH requirements
- Request syllabi creation, review submitted syllabi, and identify modification needs
- Work with faculty to develop and update current and future syllabi
- Regularly assess and maintain the quality of academic programs at the CEA Madrid center
- Support faculty on planning course-related field studies
- Oversee and coordinate the student registration process at the study center and at local academic institutions including the add/drop period, and monitor selections for capacity concerns and scheduling and faculty needs
- Provide support for faculty in all areas of study (course requirements, complementary materials, site visits, labs…)
- Coordinate and attend regular faculty meetings at CEA Madrid
- Measure faculty performance and course quality (Faculty & Course Evaluation)
- Provide and/or coordinate faculty training (onboarding for new members, CEA CAPA policies, teaching methods, other academic areas of interest)
- Maintain open communication with all partner institutions
- Supervise the day-to-day academic and administrative tasks involving partner institutions: course selection, registration, orientation sessions, add/drop period, language level tests and changes, academic disputes, transcript requests, etc.
- Coordinate and attend meetings with partner institutions to discuss feedback on the program and future directions
- Provide academic advising for students and help them solve academic issues
- Participate disciplinary meetings
- University Degree
- Fluency in spoken and written English & Spanish
- Excellent administration and communication skills
- Previous experience working in Study Abroad field.
- Previous experience working in customer service
- Mature, resourceful, out-going and assertive
- Proactive, flexible and able to work under pressure
- Responsive team player
- Solid IT and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the city and its cultural/leisure offer
- Personal experience studying/living abroad
- Experience working in an international environment (with US college students preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in local country
