For this purpose, we have a dedicated unit—Analysis & Monitoring—which handles these critical tasks and provides first-class support to our business stakeholders.The Analysis & Monitoring area is now expanding its scope to incorporate data governance as a fundamental component in the set of processes it oversees. This evolution strengthens our ability to manage data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable more robust and scalable use of data across Global Markets.About the job:We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to lead and support the development of data governance activities across critical processes within Global Markets. This role serves a dual purpose:To enable and accelerate the intensive use of data across Global Markets through robust data governance practices.To ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements related to data governance, quality, and availability.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and ensure data quality in core Global Markets processes.Design, build, or define monitoring tools to track and control data quality across the lifecycle.Identify and engage in new initiatives or projects where data governance will be a key enabler.Support business units within Global Markets in addressing data quality issues and implementing corrective actions.Develop deep expertise in critical market-related data and ensure its appropriate governance.Support the generation of reports related to data quality for both internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Ensure alignment with the global strategy for data governance and data availability.Essential Requirements:At least 3 years of experience in data governance and/or data quality management.Strong knowledge of databases and data analysis techniques.Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks (e.g. BCBS 239, etc.).Ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and compliance teamsFluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of financial markets and trading data structures.Experience working in highly regulated environments and with regulatory data reporting.Understanding of internal control frameworks related to data quality.Candidate Profile:Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to complex environments.Skills:Business Intelligence (BI), Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Quality Management, Descriptive Statistics, Financial Markets, Global Market, Numerical Aptitude
