- Through utilising an extensive personal and professional network of contacts in target residential and business communities, generate awareness about the Club, and interest in the Membership spaces, facilities and experiences it offers.
- Working closely with the Club's senior team, understand the detailed Membership revenue budget for the Club, taking in the proposed target numbers of new joiners across different Membership categories (and resulting revenue income streams). Take ownership of this budget, and for planning a detailed strategy for achieving the required top line revenues.
- Lead the creation and management of a strong Membership committee, spread across different sectors, made up of both men and women, of different ages/experience levels and from different parts of Ibiza and beyond to drive Membership applications.
- Schedule, organise and chair committee meetings periodically, to consider, discuss and review all new Member applications, endeavoring to accept sufficient numbers of suitable new Members to hit budget targets. In addition, gather feedback, both good and bad, about Club developments, levels of service, facilities and Member perceptions.
- Ensure committee Members are productive in generating fitting new Member applications through regular contact. Manage poor results through conversations and refresh consistently underdelivering committee Members when necessary.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the resident and business communities in the target catchment neighborhoods around the Club, and key feeder towns, further afield, across Ibiza area to target for Membership prospecting.
- Find ways of seeking out, and establishing relationships with Member prospects that live overseas, but also have a home in Ibiza.
- Through mutual contacts and network connections, arrange meetings to explain the Club experience in full - restaurant, club, pool, bar, lounge, sports facilities, gardens, programming, community, benefits and so on.
- Act as an arbiter of the Club value proposition, ensuring the mix of offerings, benefits and entitlements successfully drives recruitment and retention. Challenge business leaders to ensure the offering remains competitive and compelling.
- Establish the entertaining, event and social needs of suitable target companies to assemble any group Membership arrangements. Remain a key point of contact for companies that may be interested in a number of Memberships.
- Invite target individuals and organisations into the Club on a regular basis, organising weekly guest lists, show-arounds and offering special invites to event programming.
- Understand the Club's Member management and CRM systems, in order to set up subscriptions and administer accounts.
- Monitor and analyse Membership data, tracking and reporting to ensure Membership records, application processing, pipeline, waiting lists and payments are managed efficiently.
- Day to day manage the Membership team, setting objectives, monitoring performance and driving conversion and results.
- Pay close attention to any resignations by Members, keeping a record of the reason(s) and making contact directly as and when appropriate.
- Maintain a constant presence in the Club, being a 'face' for Members. Ensure you meet new Members where possible.
