Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in mid-2024.The resort will have a total of 109 rooms and suites, culinary experiences, including a signature restaurant, a beachfront restaurant and café, and a poolside bar and grill, events space, spa and fitness facilities, direct access to the beach, adult pool access to the beach, adult pool and vitality pool, Kids for All Seasons, and a wine tasting experience in the vineyards.The Role of Shift Engineer:We currently have an opportunity for Shift Engineer to join our pre-opening Four Seasons Hotel Mallorca at Formentor, Spain!Reporting into our Engineering Supervisor you will be responsible for diagnosing and providing service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, ground care, parking areas, outsourced gardening team, fire and safety. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all inquiries are responded to in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to deliver the highest of standards consistently and to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.Responsibilities will include implementing and handling preventative maintenance of all equipment, diagnosing and handling repairs of equipment, responding to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas, responding to emergency maintenance conditions, installing or relocating electrical and mechanical systems when necessary and assisting with the hotel energy conservation programs in the hotel.Our Ideal Shift Engineer candidate will have:Repair and Maintenance experience in a hotel/resort environment and have expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards. Additionally, you will have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong technical expertise, an eye for detail, and a passion for service.Fluency in Spanish and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Mallorca.Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts can offer what many hospitality professionals dream of; the opportunity to build a life-long career with global potential and a real sense of pride in work well done.
