This is an international position based in Spain, with regular exposure to operations and projects across Western European countries, requiring adaptability to different regulatory environments and cultural contexts. The role also involves frequent interaction with clients and tenants, ensuring service quality, responsiveness, and alignment with operational needs.2. Scope of Work Maintenance Oversight
- Managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Planning and managing statutory testing and inspections to ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
- Coordinating and supervising maintenance suppliers and service contracts.
- Managing and resolving incidents and emergencies, ensuring timely response and communication.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.Project Management
- Planning and executing construction, refurbishment, and major repair projects.
- Overseeing timelines, budgets, and quality control for all works.
- Liaising with contractors, engineers, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.Procurement & Supplier Management
- Selecting and negotiating with vendors for maintenance and construction services.
- Managing procurement processes for materials and services.
- Evaluating vendor performance regularly to ensure service quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure responsiveness and reliability.Budgeting & Financial Control
- Preparing and managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

- Conducting regular inspections and audits of properties.

- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural).
- Project management tools and methodologies (e. G. , Gantt charts, MS Project).
- Budgeting and financial planning (OPEX/CAPEX).

- Familiarity with or ability to identify and access the necessary sources of local building codes and statutory compliance requirements across Western Europe.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Computer literacy, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Soft Skills
