- Provide consulting, training and support on client-facing and internal projects as it relates to the organization’s Safety Database Hosted services and other Technology Systems for Pharmacovigilance.
- Assist in designing, developing, implementing, improving, and maintaining technical solutions and service offerings for the Pharmacovigilance business area – in particular with its Safety Databases and Technology Systems for Pharmacovigilance, covering:
- System setup and configuration.
- Validation documentation creation, guidance and execution.
- Training materials development and conduct.
- Support during implementation and post go-live.
- Administer Safety Databases (Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information (MI) modules) and/or other Technology Systems for Pharmacovigilance – including with regards to database configuration and user account management.
- Provide second level support as part of the PTS Helpdesk.
- Analyse complex business needs presented by clients and the internal community – and recommend & implement solutions.
- Provide project management and oversight for both client implementation and PharmaLex internal projects.
- Participate in client audits and inspections.
- Develop and review pertinent business area-related documents, procedures and working instructions (SOPs, WIs, and FAQs) in support of the Pharmacovigilance area, and ensuring that all activities are in adherence to such defined policies.
- Deploy version updates, hot-fixes, and patches governed by controlled change request procedures.
- Lead in designing and executing migrations in and out for hosted Safety Databases. .
- Contribute with SME expertise to the Business Development process.
- Mentor (Senior) Specialists and other team members.
- Any other responsibilities as discussed and agreed to with Supervisor, including any other Platform Technology Systems strategic initiatives.
- The employee agrees to take over primary listed tasks and responsibilities in other service lines, project management activities as client contact point and additional reasonable tasks that align with their abilities, qualification and training, if required.
