You will be working in a hybrid setting (3 days from the office, 2 days from home).The role is accountable for ensuring Fabric Dataflows, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and other existing processes built by the Global Analytics team function smoothly and consistently. The lead will interact directly with business stakeholders as issues arise, as well as take preventative action to keep the data flowing, along with directing a team tasked with the same.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and improve ETL processes in ADF and Fabric for data transformation
  • Communicate and learn business processes with the goal preempting failures
  • Maintain big data pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across various sources.
  • Manage data warehousing solutions.
  • Implement software and methodologies for data correction, reconciliation, and quality checking.
Key requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer, Support Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Preferred qualifications: Data Architecture experience, Microsoft Fabric familiarity, Process improvement experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and TSQL/Spark SQL. Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of Python. Strong familiarity with Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including blob storage and storage accounts, logic apps, and other Azure concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
