- The main accountabilities as Home Office Construction Engineer are:
- Prepares the general Method statement related to general site condition, for mechanical erection works and relevant price list and contributes to definition and design of Temporary Construction Facilities and Camp (if applicable). As basis for constructability workshops
- Coordinate and assess modular assessment and modular extension for construction site
- Prepare the basis for works sequence and follow up the fine tuning of construction schedule in coordination with Planning Department
- Leads the constructability workshops and follow up of the actions list agreed, to ensure that all stakeholders are taking the corresponding actions accordingly
- Provides the physical link between the Project Construction Manager and different Project Teams Leaders and/or Engineering departments to produce the deliverables in time and completed, with all data specific of the Project, the relevant construction execution requirements and the environmental conditions.
- Provides support to estimating department as required, specially regarding the costs of: manpower mobilization and Temporary Construction Facilities and Camp Facilities (if applicable)
- Prepares the Bid Inquiry (Master Did Packages) in coordination with the Subcontracting department (for all contractual aspects).
- Follows up on Bid Inquiries and relevant answers by keeping record of the relevant bid bulletins and prepares the recommendation for final negotiations/award during the bidding phase, in coordination with the Subcontracting section (for the contractual aspects).
- Follow up of Vendor deliverables to ensure that overall design is according to constructability strategies
- Prepares and manage the Project Construction deliverables in coordination with Project Construction Manager.
- Supports Project planning for all activities relevant to all Construction deliverables.
- Incorporate (to methods statements) all feedback and lessons learned from the Construction Sites and vendors/subcontractors feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related).
- 10 years of experience in energy, oil & gas, or related projects.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Primavera, Cranimax, E3D, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with online collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
