About the Team and our ScopeAt L&H Solutions, we build and commercialize cloud-native (Azure-based) SaaS/PaaS solutions for Swiss Re Life & Health insurance clients. We offer a portfolio of over six products, including established offerings like Magnum with over 60 active clients worldwide, and innovative products such as UW Ease. We are a SW house within Swiss Re.Our team consists of more than 150 technical professionals with multidisciplinary skills, located in multiple countries, working on these multi-regional, highly available solutions.About the RoleAs a Front-End Architect / UI Architect, you will be responsible for defining and driving the architectural vision for our front-end applications. You will design scalable, modular, and high-performance UI systems that integrate seamlessly with diverse platforms such as Java and .NET. This role requires deep technical expertise in modern front-end technologies, cloud integration, SaaS application development, and micro front-end architecture.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to ensure delivery of robust, maintainable, and future-ready front-end solutions.Your responsibilities will be:Design and implement scalable front-end architecture using Angular, React, and Web ComponentsDevelop Micro Frontend solutions for modular, independently deployable UI componentsIntegrate front-end components with applications built on with Java, .NET platforms and cloud services (Azure)Optimize performance through advanced techniques and third-party library customizationEnforce security best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG)Establish coding standards and component libraries for consistencyProvide technical leadership to development teams and align architecture with business goalsAbout YouNobody is perfect and meets 100% requirements. If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are genuinely curious about the world of software development, we will be happy to meet with you.If you possess traits and experience that match most of the below, we'd love to hear from you:Strong experience with Angular (latest versions) and advanced JavaScript (ES6+)Proven expertise in Micro Frontend architectures and Web Components developmentExperience building SaaS applications with multi-tenancy and API integrationProficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive interface design (flexbox, bootstrap, etc.)Demonstrated ability to optimize front-end performance and securityThese are additional nice to haves:Experience with component-based architecture and state managementKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platformsFamiliarity with front-end design patterns and accessibility standardsExperience customizing visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, etc.)For Spain the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 60.000] and [EUR 100.000] (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
