- Oversee all procurement and outsourcing activities for IT and non-IT commodities within Allianz Technology Spain.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies specifically for the professional services category, with a focus on consulting services.
- Act as a key liaison between business owners and local leadership, participating in local operation development initiatives.
- Communicate procurement strategies and initiatives clearly to stakeholders to ensure alignment and garner support.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive contract documentation, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on service quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Conduct thorough research, sourcing, and evaluation of prospective suppliers for onboarding and qualification.
- Perform due diligence and vendor screening to ensure compliance with procurement and outsourcing policies and procedures.
- Enforce compliance and regulatory standards across all procurement activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within procurement operations.
- Participate actively in global and strategic procurement initiatives to drive innovation and best practices.
- Perform tasks related to external time tracking initiatives, maintaining close follow-up with providers and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in local monthly closing activities in collaboration with the local finance team.
- Provide payment status updates and reconcile missing revenues with unpaid invoices to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review the status of each pillar within procurement operations and report findings to local management to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Global Travel at the local level, ensuring seamless coordination and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and outsourcing management, particularly within the IT and professional services sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance in procurement.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Experience in supplier evaluation and management.
- Familiarity with global procurement practices and initiatives.
