We are part of a highly ambitious and global project, collaborating across multiple sites and stages.Your main tasks
- Design and optimize assembly and microfabrication processes (laser welding, PSA bonding, heat staking, ultrasonic welding, etc.) for new microfluidic products.
- Collaborate with R&D to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) from early development stages.
- Conduct feasibility trials, Design of Experiments (DoE), and early process validations (IQ/OQ).
- Define critical process parameters, control strategies, and documentation including process flows and PFMEAs.
- Support tool and material selection in collaboration with clients and procurement.
- Lead cleanroom-based operations for insert fabrication and initial prototype production.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation: test protocols, reports, ECOs, SOPs.
- Contribute to technology transfer plans by providing robust, scalable processes ready for industrialization.
- Work in compliance with ISO 13485, internal quality systems, and client-specific requirements.
- Master's degree in Process, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process development, ideally in medical devices, diagnostics, or life sciences.
- Experience with assembly processes and cleanroom manufacturing.
- Knowledge of microfabrication, photolithography, or injection molding is a plus.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, DoE, SPC, FMEA, and process control methodologies.
- Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
- Fluency in English
