As a Technology Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for seamlessly incorporating technology solutions into existing systems, focusing on enhancing overall efficiency and functionalities. The role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, deep understanding of both existing and emerging technologies, project management expertise and the ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes.Key Responsibilities
  • System analysis: Assess existing technology infrastructure to identify integration opportunities and challenges.
  • Technology planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans for integrating new technologies into projects.
  • Solution design: Create comprehensive integration plans, ensuring compatibility, interoperability, and optimal performance across the various systems.
  • Vendor management: Coordinate with technology vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and services required for integration projects.
  • Implementation oversight: Lead the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Testing and quality assurance: Conduct thorough testing to validate the effectiveness and reliability of integrated systems.
  • Training and guidance: Develop training programs and guidance for end-users and support project team when transitioning to new technologies.
  • Trouble shooting and support: Provide ongoing support to address any issues or challenges that may arise post-implementation.
  • Security compliance: Ensure that the integrated systems meet established security standards and regulations.
  • Continuous improvement: Stay abreast of technological advancements and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT team, project managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across the project's lifecycle.
  • Project reporting: Lead the integration of data to the data warehouse, and subsequent reporting tools, to provide regular updates and reports on progress to stakeholders and management.
QualificationsEssential Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in the implementation of enabling technologies in architecture, engineering, and construction projects across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee technology integration projects.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent command (Level C1 Advanced).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with people at all levels, and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships with the client and project team.
  • Strong analytical thinking, to identify opportunities for efficiency.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to ensure compliance of systems with standards and regulations.
  • Consultancy background, with experience in railway infrastructure projects.
  • Skilled in presenting and delivering training to groups of stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of products or services.
  • Knowledge of delivery requirements, quality management, and process improvement in complex construction projects.
