- Assist in the preparation and ongoing updates of the Asset Management Plan, detailing the strategic vision and tactical recommendations for each asset to achieve ownership’s investment goals.
- Monitor the financial performance of assets by reviewing actual results against budgets and prior years, as well as benchmarking against comparable properties.
- Assist in overseeing asset conditions to anticipate capital requirements and ensuring compliance with health codes and life-safety regulations.
- Support and review the budgeting process, benchmarking operations against comparable properties. Evaluate and facilitate the approval of budgets, marketing strategies, operating plans, and capital expenditure proposals.
- Conduct financial analyses to identify value-add opportunities for individual assets and the broader portfolio, including scenario modelling to drive operational performance.
- Assist in negotiating and managing contracts at the asset level to ensure service delivery and proper billing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an ESG strategy roadmap for the portfolio.
- Support the implementation and standardisation of monthly and quarterly reporting processes, including the preparation of portfolio performance reports for stakeholders.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies or anomalies in data and financial reports, collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
- Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Development, Finance, and Legal to ensure data integrity and explore strategies to enhance asset returns.
- Respond to ad-hoc data and information requests from company leadership and investors, providing accurate, evidence-based insights.
- Assist the wider team in forecasting future performance by leveraging historical data and market trends.
- Monitor competitive market conditions, tracking occupancy and AMR trends, supply levels, and demand drivers.
- Support the development of strategic plans and investment strategies aimed at optimising portfolio performance and maximising returns.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications is preferred.
- Highly driven individuals with a minimum of 2 - 3 years work experience in operational real estate asset management, preferably PBSA and/or Hospitality.
- Strong ability to coordinate and execute project plans. Track record in successfully managing projects’ milestones, timeline, budget, and deliverables. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving. Capacity of identifying potential risks and opportunities early on.
- Proven track record of improving asset performance and achieving financial targets.
- Knowledge of the relevant industry market, trends, and regulatory environment.
- Experience in creating and maintaining financial models; strong general computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power Bi)
- Fluency in working English and Spanish is mandatory, additional European language is beneficial (German, Italian)
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in collecting, organising, and analysing data related to real estate properties and market trends. Ability to conduct thorough financial analysis and scenario planning to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial concepts and metrics related to operational real estate investments, including P&Ls, key performance indicators (AMRs, Occupancy, Profit Margin), cash flow analysis, and return on investment (ROI). Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in analysing data, reports, and financial models to ensure accuracy and reliability. Ability to identify discrepancies and anomalies and conduct thorough investigations to determine root causes.
- Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage time to meet information requirements and reporting deadlines. Capable of prioritising tasks and maintaining focus amidst competing demands.
- Multitasking: Proficiency in managing several queries in parallel with minimal supervision. Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and ensure timely completion of deliverables while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information and insights to stakeholders, including investors and company leadership. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
