And we're absolutely committed to building a culture where our people can do just thatWe have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Consultant to take responsibility for performing general accounting tasks for a set of clients. Their primary duties include accounting invoices, generating and submitting client taxes and preparing financial statements and client reports.Reporting to the Manager Accounting and Tax compliance they will work closely with the Company's wider accounting team to contribute to business growth.This role can be remote from anywhere in Spain or you can chose to work in a hybrid fashion from our Barcelona or Madrid offices.Key responsibilities:
  • Manages a portfolio of clients acting as main point of contact for the clients assigned,
escalating when necessary. * Manages, controls and accounts client invoices in line with accounting obligations,making the appropriate checks. * Prepares and takes care of the presentation of annual accounts and official books.
  • Responsible for the preparation and filing of tax returns, as well as informative
declarations to different bodies. * Attention to requirements from the Administration and response to them.
  • Works in close collaboration with other departments for any items that may have
crossed impact. * Supports the team when needed in the distribution of tasks.
  • Follows the company quality standards and processes.

Relevant Experience:
  • 2 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in management with multinational clients is highly valued.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
  • University education in ADE/ Economics or similar; candidates with training in CFGS in Administration and Finance will also be accepted. Suggestion: Degree in Administration and Finance/Degree in Law/Economics.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations, especially in regard to VAT, IRPF, IS, Spanish General Accounting Plan and other relevant regulations for the provision of the service.
  • High level of English.
  • Proficiency of Spanish Language to be in contact with the Administration.
  • Good knowledge of accounting management software. Knowledge of A3 software
would be an asset.Location:ES ES
