Based in Leganés, Thales Sistemas employs a highly specialized workforce of more than 100 people, most of them engineers that participate in the following activities:
  • Communications and Information Systems (CIS) to support Command function and Decision Making:
  • Embedded electronics for military aircraft
  • Tactical Communications
  • Radio Navigation Aids for air traffic
As part of the Manufacturing Engineering department, you will provide engineering support for the production and maintenance of electronic equipments.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
  • Analysis of technical documentation in order to be able to industrialise products and to be able to manufacture and/or maintain them.
  • Process Automation and continuous improvement.
  • Creation of Process Sheets, Instructions and Bill of Materiales.
  • Creation of schematics with AutoCAD 2D/3D.
  • Analysis of electrical/electronic and mechanical diagrams in terms of defects, improvements, and alternatives.
  • Maintain test benches and know how to manage their corrective maintenance.
  • Support the production centre in resolving incidents, adding value and optimising them as far as possible.
  • Analyse the technical aspects of the offers that pass through the department.
Competences:Technical/functional skills:
  • Degree in Telecommunications or Industrial Engineering specialising in electronics or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of technical drawing, electronics, test benches, instrumentation and programming.
  • Six sigma, Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
  • Intermediate/advanced level of English required
