If so, this is your chance to create an impact and grow with Hempel!Do you want to be part of a skillful team where teamwork drives success?As our Senior Subject Matter Expert, you will be a key enabler of sales, technical services and Marketing processes, crafting technical documentation and most importantly, improving success in performance by adopting ownership of and achieving certification of our products.You will have the phenomenal opportunity to report directly to our R&D Manager, E&I Subject Matter Expert, and be based in any location where Hempel has legal representation, as we offer a flexible work policy.Your key responsibilities would be:
  • Provide technical expertise to support project acquisition, successful execution, and certification of Hydrocarbon PFP products.
  • Lead product performance guarantee contracts for Hydrocarbon PFP, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and technical standards.
  • Facilitate rapid resolution of global claims and supply to continuous improvement of technical documentation quality.
  • Deliver technical training to relevant stakeholders across Hempel to enhance product understanding and application.
  • Offer expert support in addressing customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including internal laboratories, Key Account Managers, and third-party laboratories. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role and influence the future success of our Passive Fire Protection R&D area.What does it take to become our new team member?
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Polymers, Chemistry, Engineering, or similar scientific fields
  • Extensive technical expertise with Hydrocarbon PFP
  • Specific knowledge of the intumescent industry
  • Excellent English proficiency, written and verbal
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (advanced), Power Point, Teams.
  • Available to travel from time to time
