Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.About the roleWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced In Room Dining Supervisor to join our pre-opening team!Reporting into the Assistant In Room Dining Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Food and Beverage team.What you will doResponsibilities will include:
  • Maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior staff, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for various meal periods in Room Service and manage My Bar.
  • Train and supervise all Room Service and My Bar staff.
  • Maintain a friendly manner with all guests when greeting them, and throughout their Room Service dining experience.
  • Ensures a successful handling of the Room Service.
  • Assist in effective and efficient methods for setting orders properly.
  • Ensure the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods will be demonstrated by all staff members.
  • Anticipate all materials and supplies and assure their availability.
  • Control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
  • Observe daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in Room Service and My Bar; makes recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • Prepare staff schedules which allow for appropriate service
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals.
  • Execute functions or special receptions in rooms, suites and boardrooms.
  • Promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
  • Understand all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service, as well as an expert knowledge of wines and spirits.
  • Maintain a daily log for communication between Room Service staff and with upper management.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of Room Service and guest hallways by enforcing clean-up schedules.
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings.
  • Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working climate.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees within the Room Service and My Bar, and complete all accident reports promptly. Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Participate in all inventories directly involved with the operation of the Room Service and My Bar.
  • Use the computer system in ringing, printing and closing checks as well as shift report.
  • Give complete support to the In Room Dining Manager and Assistant Manager and assumes responsibility for the room service upon the Managers absence.
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Our Ideal In Room Dining Supervisor will have:Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.At least one year supervisory experience, and one year food & beverage service experience.Knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, maintenance, merchandising and accounting.Computer literateWhat we offer:

Schedule & Hours:Full time contract, 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts from Monday to SundayCandidates must have the legal permission to work in the EU.
