- Conduct comprehensive analysis of rotating equipment category to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Support strategic sourcing events with market research, supplier analysis, and cost modeling.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, supply chain, and finance teams to align category market trends and execute plans effectively.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects related to category optimization, and cost reduction.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including timelines, deliverables, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Track and report on project outcomes and ensure alignment with broader category goals.
- Lead or support segmentation strategy in the category and supplier count
- Support on KPI measurement tools and tracking
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders seeking category insights.
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to influence decision-making.
- Facilitate alignment between different functional leads to ensure that strategies are consistently applied across organization.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and competitive dynamics to inform category strategies.
- Perform market research to gain insights into supply chain dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends for specified categories.
- Provide timely insights and recommendations to category managers and business stakeholders.
- Manage and deliver the following recurring and strategic reports:
- Monthly Sourcing Initiatives – Work and follow up on sourcing initiatives within the category.
- Monthly KPI reporting – consolidate and analyze key metrics and trends across assigned.
- Lead category projects – responsible of leading projects in the category and align with primary and secondary objectives
- Maintain and update sourcing roadmaps - Ensure sourcing roadmaps are up-to-date and reflect current supplier capabilities, competitiveness and constraints.
- Support the category strategy – Support the strategy by leading the initiatives derived from it, and aligning with different stakeholders.
