This field-based role focuses on ensuring access to products within the Spanish healthcare system while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive reimbursement success.Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with payers, advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders to ensure product access and funding.
- Address access-related challenges and provide support to sales teams within assigned territories.
- Execute strategies to enhance access to products in key accounts, aligning with national policies and patient needs.
- Contribute to regional and national market access strategies, including tender management, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Utilize health economic tools such as budget impact models and cost-effectiveness data to support access initiatives.
- Manage and analyze data to inform decision-making and explore innovative, data-driven access solutions.
- Create compelling market access narratives and engage with stakeholders to facilitate access.
- Strong understanding of the Spanish healthcare system (SNS), including policy, procurement, and access landscapes.
- Experience with health economics tools and arguments, such as budget impact models.
- Proven success in achieving reimbursement and access for innovative medical technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at multiple organizational levels.
- Familiarity with diabetes or medical technology is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biochemistry, pharmacology, health economics) or equivalent experience.
- Postgraduate qualifications in health economics, public affairs, or market access are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory and periodically to Madrid.
