Job Description:The roleWe are actively looking for a Business Support Manager to help support the Site Manager in delivering the customer service relationships, logistics engineering, HSEQ related topics, inventory management, IT systems, maintenance and front of house responsibilities.This role is effectively the second in command at the location and will deputise for the site manager when he is not on site. You will be managing a small team that will cover all of the operational aspects of the location and provide key support to help drive the service level agreements (SLA) with the customer.As part of the role with the SLAs you will manage the action trackers, resolve escalations so customer expectations are met, support the operational team to resolve any operations issues amongst other things. As part of this role you will also be expected to support the commercial team for any new business RFQs at the site.An important part of this role is to maintain the QESH standards and you will be managing the QESH officer making sure that all of the work is done safely, on time and within budget. You will be the liaison with the shop floor staff and the management team and resolve any employee issues before they escalate.So, who are we looking for?Key skills and experience include:
  • Experience of working in a business support role in a warehouse or manufacturing space
  • This is a great role for someone to step up from a first line management role in a larger location. This will allow you to take on a larger management role
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Spanish
  • Advance Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • The ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Strong problem solving abilities and the ability to talk to people from the shop floor to senior management.
