- Manage and develop business with the existing distribution network in the assigned territory.
- Increase Rain Bird’s market share with distributors, dealers and contractors.
- Conduct product demonstrations and become a product technical expert.
- Promoting the use and purchase of Rain Bird products and services with a focus on brand conversion and customer loyalty.
- Establish and implement strategies and plans within the assigned territory.
- Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all dealers and contractors in the region.
- Participation in all relevant events for the purpose of networking and generating opportunities to sell Rain Bird products.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ progressive sales and business experience
- Microsoft tools, presentations and database applications (CRM) experience and knowledge.
- Self-motivated, team player, aggressive, and strong communication skills.
- Native Spanish and fluent English. Catalan is a plus.
- Availability to travel up to 50% across the eastern regions of Spain.
- Must be based in the Barcelona area.
- Experience working in the water/irrigation industry and/or professional equipment distribution.
- Management or leadership experience
- Engineering experience a plus
