- Cultivate strong relationships both internally – with area PR leaders and key stakeholders - and externally - to develop key media and influencer/content creators’ relations.
- Act as expert for key stakeholders in the company to direct Consumer PR strategy across the business including sharing of best practices, guideline development and webinar trainings.
- Provide recommendations to area PR leaders and key stakeholders on PR activation opportunities.
- Assist in running the department’s Press Office including reviewing press releases, monitoring performance, and leveraging media relations.
- Prepare and review press releases and disseminate to relevant media.
- Manage Influencer Outreach Program and partnerships with quality content creators with the aim of establishing a strong global network, in alignment with area PR and Field Activation team in the local areas. Including identifying profiles, managing incoming requests, regular performance reporting.
- Together with the Field Activation team, leverage content creators’ network to produce quality content at scale to feed into global and individual hotels’ social media channels.
- Manage the content calendar of Consumer PR activities in close alignment with Corporate Communications topics.
- Regularly track Consumer PR coverage with clear measurement framework for KPIs.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the media landscape across key markets in partnership with area PR leaders to maximize cross-market activities and PR-driven brand events.
- Minimum 3-5 years of PR / Communication / Social Media experience preferably within the travel/luxury/lifestyle sector (in-house or agency experience)
- Experience with lifestyle media (lifestyle publications, social media influencers, content creators)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications/Marketing/PR or similar field
- Experience managing Communication & PR within an international environment.
- An experienced communicator capable of engaging senior executives and company employees in order to support implementation of the strategy.
- Strong understanding of Influencer marketing, both paid and earned. Preferred if the candidate has an existing network of influencers/content creators to introduce to our brands and is able to grow it further.
- Experience with PR tools for media monitoring (Meltwater), press release distribution and influencer management (Klear).
- Up to date knowledge of PR & Social Media, with a keen eye on best practices
- Native or professional proficiency level fluency in English - both written and spoken. Other European languages are a plus.
- Creative writing and editing skills – the ability to write compelling content with an understanding of what makes a newsworthy story.
- A passion for communication - a natural networker who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to foster relationships with media, resulting in positive press coverage.
- Strong attention to detail – a belief that details really matter.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
