Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT/OT Support Engineer to join a leading company in the logistics and industrial sector, responsible for maintaining and monitoring terminal IT health checks and supporting both IT and OT infrastructure.This is a 100% onsite role based in Barcelona, requiring a technically skilled professional who can work independently, handle incident and service management (L1 & L2), and contribute to the stability and security of critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide end-user support for hardware and software including Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to local IT infrastructure such as datacenter racks, cabling, servers, storage, and network equipment.Support and maintain OT infrastructure assets, including CCTV, radio communications, biometric readers, OCR equipment, and vehicle-mounted terminals.Manage service requests and incident tickets, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.Participate in technical projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Contribute to the IT/OT knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting guides and solutions.Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities.Support and monitor datacenter operations, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver effective onsite IT/OT support.Technical RequirementsDegree in IT Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT support roles.Strong knowledge of VMware and/or Cisco networking technologies, beyond basic monitoring.ITIL knowledge or certification is highly desirable.Proven experience in incident management, routine IT service maintenance, and technical support.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.Ability to work independently and deliver results in a critical onsite environment.Additional InformationThe role is 100% onsite at the terminal facilities in Barcelona due to operational requirements.The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in SD-WAN, data center infrastructure, and to work with global IT/OT teams.Career progression paths include Project Management, Service Management, L3 Support, and Business Analysis roles.
