  • Drive our product strategy by understanding market trends and the competitive landscape and by gathering and triaging requirements from our customers, prospects and partners.
  • Identify and prioritize requirements including target platforms, safety features, and supporting collateral.
  • Define the product roadmap in collaboration with engineers, sales, marketing, services and customers.
  • Clearly communicate our product vision and roadmap to our globally distributed customers, partners and other product stakeholders, including the executive team.
  • Work with sales and marketing to develop supporting collateral include presentations, web content, white papers and data sheets.
  • Help craft compelling responses to RFPs from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field of study (e.g., engineering, mathematics, information technology), or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience understanding and articulating business and technical problems and presenting roadmaps to customers and partners. This should include familiarity with product management functions, including writing requirements, prototype development, market research, competitive analysis, and product planning.
  • 6+ combined years of experience in product management or technical program management in systems software, networking, distributed systems or embedded systems.
  • Experience with use cases related to Software-Defined Vehicles including Next Gen E/E, Central & Zonal Domain Architectures, AUTOSAR Classic & Adaptive, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Experience in automotive production programs including RFQ response, Project Bidding, Contextualization and Continuous Integration.
  • Experience releasing products according to relevant automotive industry standards:
  • Quality: ASPICE
  • Safety: ISO 26262
  • Security: ISO 21434
  • Experience with safety platforms, safety hypervisors, and networking (DDS, CAN Bus, SOME/IP) in safety environments.
  • Familiarity with APAC, EMEA and US Automotive Markets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written and presentation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly distributed team, including headquarters in the USA.
  • Role may be based in Denver, CO; US Remote; Granada, Spain or Germany. RTI headquarters is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

  • Understanding of market trends and technical concepts of safety platforms for autonomous systems in other markets such as Avionics (DO-178C), Medical (IEC 62304), Industrial (IEC 61508), and Railway (EN 50128 / EN 50716).
  • Familiarity with the ROS 2 ecosystem and related robotics use cases.
  • Familiarity with ADAS/Autonomous driving embedded platforms and software stacks.
  • Proven leadership abilities and interest.
  • MBA or demonstrated aptitude to bridge technical and business drivers.
