- To be responsible for delivering contracting viable technical solutions that will support and benefit the company.
- Evaluation of supplier portfolios of mapped product and together with the relevant contracting team, deliver enhanced and targeted growth of product delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with the supplier's technical and commercial staff.
- Should have strong negotiation skills in respect to enforcing the contracting and technical position of the company.
- Conducts analysis of supplier product and sales and provide planning for delivery.
- Compile reports on delivery and growth of supplier product.
- Provide support and expertise of a technical nature to Contracting.
- Provide guidance and support to contracting related to prioritizing bugs / enhancements / projects or coordinating troubleshooting activities between the Technical, Supplier and Contracting teams.
- Requires technical and contracting skills.
- Coordinate technical contracting activities with other work units or departments.
- Proven experience in hotel account management or a similar role in the travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of the assigned region(s) and its hospitality market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets in a competitive environment.
- Experience in building and managing relationships with hotel partners.
- Familiarity with online distribution platforms, APIs, or cloud-based systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the assigned regions are highly desirable.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure favourable terms while maintaining strong relationships with partners.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the travel and accommodation market in assigned regions
- Analytical Thinking: Capable of evaluating market trends and performance data to make informed decisions.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and written skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Results Orientation: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful in overcoming challenges and identifying innovative solutions.
- Contracting experience gained with the hotel industry.
- Able to develop and maintain strong and trusting relationship with hoteliers.
- Educated to degree level of equivalent or equivalent professional qualification.
