While this role has a global scope, it will work closely with our European HR groups, leveraging proximity and time zone alignment to support regional needs. You’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-moving environment where your contributions will help optimize how HR supports employees and managers across the globe.
As a Workday HCM Analyst and Configurator, you’ll be part of Agilent’s Global HR Digital Team within HR Shared Services, supporting our Workday platform across 30+ countries. You’ll collaborate with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, IT teams, and other stakeholders to design, configure, and enhance Workday modules, driving efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and elevating the employee experience.We’re looking for someone with extensive Workday Core HCM experience, plus in-depth hands-on expertise in at least one or two of the following modules: Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, or Time Tracking.Our primary location is Barcelona (hybrid model), but we also consider Spain Remote or Penang.QualificationsKey Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and administer Workday HCM modules in a global environment.
- Partner with HR functional owners to analyze requirements, propose improvements, and implement solutions with a strong focus on enhancing the employee experience.
- Workday release analysis and testing, identifying new features and streamlining HR processes.
- Manage small to medium projects and collaborate across functions.
- Develop a deep understanding of global HR data and downstream integrations.
- Create user documentation, process guides, and training materials
- Extensive Workday Core HCM experience, including configuration, test case creation and test execution.
- Hands-on experience with at least one or two of the following Workday modules: Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, or Time Tracking.
- Expertise in creating test plans and testing.
- Strong understanding of HR business practices and how they integrate with HCM systems.
- Experience working with European countries and Payroll integrations is a strong plus.
- Analytical mindset and familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics.
- Workday Security experience preferred.
- Experience with AI and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) would also be a plus.
- Active in Workday community, ability to collaborate and identify opportunities to fully utilize Workday capabilities.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams in multicultural environments.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and customer-centric design skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive data with discretion and ensure data privacy.
- Ability to multi-task and to take on new and unfamiliar assignments.
- Fluent in English.
