Participates in business development activities. Reporting directly to the Project Manager/Project Director, the Senior Principal Consultant will work closely with both Technical and Functional subject matter experts in financial services domains, and other Oracle team members, to successfully deploy Financial Services Solution offerings such as: Enterprise Risk and Finance, Enterprise Performance management, and Financial Crime and Compliance. You will:
  • Provide strategic technical support to assure high levels of customer satisfaction. This requires in-depth knowledge of installation, configuration, usage, and optimization of Oracle products, general accounting practices, and excellent customer skills. The Technical Analyst is required to communicate problems, root causes, and resolution of all technical issues related to Oracle products, including configuration, optimization, installation, compatibility, bugs, upgrades, and patches in clear, non-technical terms to keep customers apprised of current status and set appropriate expectations. Additionally, the Analyst must manage their backlog of customer issues and maintain their dashboard metrics at satisfactory levels using outstanding time management, communication, and disciplined work ethic skills.
  • Serve as an expert member of technical staff with excellent skills in structured problem analysis, troubleshooting, problem reproduction, testing, and resolution of complex technical problems. This requires comprehensive knowledge of Oracle products and general knowledge of accounting principles. Analysts must stay current on product updates, changes, and enhancements by continuous learning, primarily through self-learning programs. Knowledge of Cloud technologies, SaaS and IaaS architectures, networking, and server-based architectures are required. Knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, and Unix operating systems is also required.
  • Research, review, create, and edit knowledge within the Oracle Knowledge Base is required. This includes searching for symptoms, root causes, and solutions within an extensive database of articles, white papers, documentation, and notes. Contributions, reviews, edits, and updates must also be made to the Knowledge Base by Analysts as new knowledge is acquired, updates are made, and corrections are needed. Serve as mentor and consultant to more junior analysts. Develop training materials to develop skills and knowledge of other Support Analysts.
  • Analyze, test, and create automation tools used to guide customers through the Service Request process. This includes creating and programming automated customer questions to filter out the customer issue and product, and accurately route the new Service Request to the correct engineer. It also includes writing code to automate the collection of log files and other needed information from the customer's servers. Work on special projects and assignments as directed by management.
  • Conduct analysis of customer's requirements and mapping
  • Perform developments as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle/customer within the planned schedule
  • Use defined standards/ tools/ processes to achieve deliverables that meet quality expectations
  • Document activities/work in accordance with agreed standards/ processes applicable
  • Adhere to the defined Change Control Process. Comply with Oracle /customer audit/ compliance requirements
  • Participate and support financial services projects for clients across regions, as required
  • Installing/Configuring/Cloning Weblogic/OBIEE/OFSAAI/AgileReporter/OFSAA Application Packs/Oracle patches applications
  • Customising OFSAA batches/tasks as required by customers
  • Investigating of data lineage and transformations done throughout ofsaa process
  • Optimising batches/tasks where possible
  • Making Vermeg Agile Reporter functionalities for AnaCredit
  • Updating OFSAA/OBIEE/AgileReporter components
  • Installing/Configuring & Debugging any issues that relates to ORE (Oracle R Enterprise)
  • Able to work on Erwin and FSDF
  • Debug & Customise ODI for use in DIH and Daily EOD ETL tasks
  • Support production runs and investigate source of any errors/indeterminate batches etc
  • Support DR rehearsals
  • Collaborating with Oracle Support on SRs as required
