We also offer solutions with the application of vacuum and high vacuum technologies for traditional and high-tech industries in the energy and aerospace sectors, as well as scientific experimentation.Apply now and become part of our team!Job DescriptionAs part of the global IT-Department at Syntegon, you will be responsible for applications and processes in the area of ITSM and IT-Infrastructure.
  • Customize Syntegon's ITSM application to meet the specific requirements of the organization by tailoring workflows, forms, and automation rules. Additionally, you act as the application owner of our CMDB.
  • Design and optimize workflows for incident management, service request management, change management, problem management, and other IT processes.
  • Provide training and support to end users and IT staff on how to use the ITSM tools, including creating documentation and conducting training sessions.
  • Monitor applications within scope and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and integration.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, process owners, and key users to ensure optimal process efficiency, a positive user experience, and alignment with security policies.
  • Administer user access, permissions, and groups in accordance with Syntegon standards and best practices for the applications within your scope.
  • Create and maintain custom automations using scripting languages such as PowerShell.
  • Budget planning and reporting in relation to the tools within your responsibility.
Qualifications
  • Completed a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or a comparable qualification).
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in managing and administering ITSM applications or other IT infrastructure tools (such as CMDB or monitoring platforms).
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, especially in configuration and change management.
  • Experience with Ivanti Neurons would be beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of application life cycle management, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
