Sika, a leading specialty chemical company, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Global Business Process Owner. If you have a passion for driving efficiency, process optimization, and global collaboration, this is the opportunity for you!Goal and Purpose of the Position:As the Global Business Process Owner, your primary responsibility is to define global end-to-end processes and data templates to support Sika's growth strategy. Your role will contribute to achieving operational efficiency and competitive advantages by establishing a single-source-of-truth approach and driving data standardization and quality.Main Tasks:Process Definition & Design:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document global end-to-end processes, ensuring alignment with Sika's business objectives.
  • Develop process maps, standard operating procedures, and process performance metrics.
  • Harmonize and protect global process master data to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for process stability and resilience.
  • Develop documentation and training material for regional process owners and key users.
  • Present regular monitoring reports on Sika's end-to-end process performance to regional management.
Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage technology solutions for process digitalization and automation.
  • Work with regional process owner teams to drive cross-regional end-to-end process alignment.
  • Support Corporate IT (SIS) in SAP upgrades and migration projects.
Governance and Oversight:
  • Act as the central point of contact for assigned global end-to-end processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor process performance and establish KPIs to track effectiveness.
  • Support the definition of an authorization concept to protect Sika end-to-end processes and master data.
Change Management:
  • Lead change initiatives related to global end-to-end process improvements.
  • Provide training and support to regional teams and key users affected by global process changes.
  • Foster a culture of end-to-end process ownership and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Production Engineer or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process management, process optimization, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of demand to supply processes and best practices within industry.
  • Strong experience in SAP Demand-to-Supply process (SAP APO: PP, DS...)
  • Proven track record of successfully leading global process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Willigness to travel internationally.
