The group operates in some of the worlds most iconic seaside destinations and continues to expand its portfolio of resorts, residences, and destination hotels. The company is independently owned, family-led, and headquartered in Barcelona.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director of Project & Technical Services to oversee the full lifecycle of all development and renovation projects across the groups global portfolio. This leadership role combines strategic technical oversight with hands-on project coordination and operational engagement.The scope includes:Full technical delivery of all pipeline and future development projectsSupervision of Engineering and Maintenance departments for operating hotelsLeadership and execution of Capex initiatives across the brandYour initial priority will be a full review of all active pipeline projects to assess risks, identify opportunities, and drive optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the bridge between brand strategy, design, construction teams, and technical consultantsSelect and manage third-party service providers, ensuring alignment with budget and quality standardsMaintain strong, transparent relationships with developers, owners, and consultantsEnsure brand standards and project goals are met across all technical activitiesOversee stakeholder coordination across all project types (new builds, renovations, refurbishments)Manage RFPs and ensure compliance with legal, technical, cost, and timing requirementsMonitor site progress and ensure alignment with building codes and specificationsLead and mentor the internal technical services team and oversee external consultantsSupport Capex planning and participate in corporate procurement processesChampion a client-first mindset, long-term relationship-building, and operational excellenceProfile SoughtMinimum 10 years' experience in project management or technical services for hospitality or real estate developmentsDeep understanding of building codes, MEP systems, and FF&E integrationSkilled in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe is a plusProven leadership and risk-management skills, with a hands-on approachStrong commercial acumen in hotel operations and project budgetingExcellent communication and negotiation skillsFluent in English; additional languages are a plusWilling to travel internationally as requiredWhat the Company OffersCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth insurance and paid time offCareer growth in a high-energy, global hospitality companyHybrid working structureIf you're excited by the opportunity to lead global hospitality projects in a lifestyle-driven, design-focused group with ambitious expansion plans we would love to hear from you.Apply through COMPANIUM Hospitality.
