- Creates textures utilizing photography, pre-existing texturesand procedural software.
- Paints stylized textures from concepts following the look of the show.
- Creates procedural textures from Substance designer.
- Possesses the ability to create, adapt, and iterate, within a variety of artistic styles.
- Create and modify shaders in the main renderengines.
- Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
- Show a clear understanding of UVs and texture layout.
- Possess the ability to create procedural shaders.
- Collaborates with other team members, when necessary.
- Follows the Supervisor's and Lead´s guidance.
- 3-5 years in VFX or animation industries.
- 1+ years in the animation industry is desirable.
- Experience in Arnold and/or Renderman.
- Experience in Substance package and/or Mari.
- Shows strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation or VFX.
- Possesses deep knowledge of creating UVs.
- Knowledge of lighting, modeling and optimization.
- Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation.
- Management of large scenes, huge locations or complex sequences.
- Knowledge of Houdini, Solaris or Katana is desirable.
- USD and/or OSL knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge in vegetation workflow (instances and scatter) is a plus.
- Understanding of displacement workflow (maps and geo output) is a plus.
- High English level desirable.
- Spanish desirable
