We are looking for someone with good stakeholder management skills, effective communication, with proven experience in IT environmnet to join our T&P Engineering Tools Product Team.Position Snapshot:
  • Location: Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona, Spain)
  • Type of Contract: Permanent (local contract)
  • Function and Stream: IT Technical & Production - reporting to the Product Manager Engineering Applications
  • Type of work: Hybrid
  • Work Language: Fluent Business English
  • 5+ years of experience within IT environment, in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise applications

In this role you will support the deployment of over 30 specialized engineering applications, mainly developed by vendors. Your role will focus primarily on advanced troubleshooting (80%) and occasionally on specifying new features (20%), requiring both functional and IT expertise.What you'll do:For each of the applications of the portfolio, you will:
  • Understand all the key functional features.
  • Have adequate understanding of platform and network IT concepts relevant to the context of the application.
  • Learn to replicate main engineering use cases in the application.
  • Be able to reproduce reported issues for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Identify common issues and prepare interim mitigation guidelines.
  • Maintain a backlog of enhancements and track updates with vendors.
  • When required write feature specifications as needed for new functionalities
  • Test applications independently for hands-on familiarity.
  • Interact regularly with engineers to understand their workflows and key features.

  • Academical background: Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, sciences, engineering, or related field, or equivalent. At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience within IT function, ideally in engineering environment.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability in advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for applications. Comfortable diagnosing complex issues and implementing effective solutions across diverse systems and environments.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise applications; knowledge of tools for deployment automation, version management, and monitoring; ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to application support across various environments and platforms.
  • Project Implementation: Proven track record in project delivery within dynamic environments; knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong ownership, business value driven and result oriented mindset
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills at all levels.
  • Other Skills: Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; skilled at managing multiple tasks and stakeholders. Able to collaborate virtually with global teams across cultures and time zones.
