The Computational Science & Exploratory Analytics Product Line works hand in hand with the scientists across the Roche organization to develop analytics and computational capabilities in pharmaceutical and diagnostic research and development. We build workflows, frameworks, platforms, and applications to analyze multimodal data at scale to help discover the next drug and diagnostics.Here's what you'll be doing:Designing global platforms according to enterprise standards with a framework mindset.Developing architectural strategies and roadmaps so we can stay ahead of the curve.Reviewing and improving our existing solutions for continuous improvement.Researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies for future-proofing.Seeking opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes to increase efficiency and to inspire.Designing non-functional requirements and implementation review to identify gaps between design and codeWho you are:A Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or equivalent.7+ years of relevant experience in the field (software development, integration, architecture design)Hands-on experience in cloud technologies, application development, and machine learning, especially:scikit, PyTorch, TensorFlow, R Studio/R environmentExperience working in the life sciences industry in collaboration with bioinformaticians and research scientists is a plus.Experience operating in regulated environments with data residency and regulations.Experience with modern architecture practices, including the effective use of quality attributes and architecture decision recordsStrong collaboration and influencing skills with a proven ability to lead and inspireWhat we offer:Dynamic and collaborative team environmentGlobal influence and impactVibrant and enjoyable workplace cultureCareer advancemenMany other benefits and opportunities for growthWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
