- Support on timely and efficient closing process and submission of Monthly and Annual Reporting Packages for various countries in MEA
- Liaise with internal stake holders and vestas group department and consultants to secure full understanding of accounting and Indirect (VAT, WHT, Reverse charge VAT etc.,) and direct taxes for MEA countries
- Co-ordinate with group and local auditors to provide necessary information, execution and secure all relevant information documented properly to complete the audit as per deadlines.
- Ensure completion and co-ordination with local consultants to submit as per deadlines of all statutory returns including VAT, WHT, Intrastat and any local reporting including customs and excise duty monthly/ Quarterly/ yearly basis.
- Ensure the internal control documentation requirements within MEA Region
- Specialize in the financial process and close co-ordination with financial shared service center in Manila to execute the day to day and month end related tasks.
- Support on Budget, forecast process of BS, PL and cashflow
- Periodic cashflow reporting in SAP BPC
- Co-ordinate with banks on day-to-day operations
- Comprehensive knowledge in P2P and R2R process.
- Act as bridge between SSC and business for all processes.
- Be a strong contributor in cross functional projects
- Relevant Bachelor / master's degree in finance
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant financial working experience and extended experience with finance, audit, tax and compliance.
- Experience with SAP and SAP/BI, BPC
- Good understanding of the Local VAT, WHT, CIT and other local statutory laws prevalent and good knowledge about IFRS accounting guidelines and principles
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills
- Fluent in English / Arabic is essential
- Complying to Vestas GAAP and Local GAAP, requires proven ability to understand complex and diverse accounting standards and tax rules
- Organized, self-motivated, and be able to work individually or as part of a team on several projects simultaneously
- High drive to work ethically
- Effective time management and strategic decision-making ability.
- Capacity to adjust to deadlines.
- Outgoing personality: Capacity to motivate, promote and boost morale of the teams within a multicultural organization.
- Presentation skills: be able to communicate effectively financial concepts to other deparments
