The position is ideally suited for professionals based in Madrid, Spain, due to the strategic importance of customer proximity.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Excellence- Drive significant incremental growth across named global accounts.
- Shape and close large, complex multi-BU deals that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrate quarterly revenue predictability and target overachievement.
- Lead opportunity creation, deal qualification, and contract negotiations with C-level stakeholders.Consultative Business Leadership- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to CxOs and senior stakeholders in both IT and business lines.
- Develop and execute robust account plans and point-of-view strategies aligned with customer transformation objectives.
- Understand and communicate industry-specific trends, especially within banking, insurance, and telco sectors.Global Team Leadership- Inspire and align cross-functional, virtual account teams across geographies and OpenText business units.
- Coordinate and lead joint planning sessions with Account Executives (AEs) to ensure execution of global account strategy.
- Build internal consensus, establish governance models, and orchestrate customer engagement cadence.You Are Great At- Achieving and forecasting revenue consistently across quarters

- Building trust, driving influence, and delivering outcomesWhat It Takes- Proven success in managing multi-million-dollar global accounts
- You must have existing experience managing and working with either Santander, Telefonica or Mapfre.
- Experience with solution selling, SaaS, cloud, and digital transformation offerings
- Strong commercial acumen, including contractual negotiation skills across multinational stakeholders
- Exposure to C-level executives, and ability to articulate business outcomes tied to IT innovation
- High cultural intelligence and fluency in managing regional sensitivities
- A growth mindset with intellectual curiosity and passion for learning
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
- Fluency in Spanish and English is requiredLocation RequirementThis role requires frequent in-person engagement with customers.
