Established in 2008, PETRONAS Lubricants International manufactures and markets a full range of high-quality automotive and industrial lubricants products in over 80 markets globally.Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, PLI has over 30 marketing offices in 23 countries, managed through regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Turin, Beijing, Belo Horizonte, Chicago and Durban.Its state-of-the-art Global Research & Technology Center in Turin, Italy is home of innovative automotive engineering worldwide and the nucleus of its research and development initiatives around the world, anchored on a rich heritage in lubricants technology.Currently ranked among the top 10, PLI is driving an aggressive business growth agenda to secure its position as a leading global lubricants company.PLI works in tandem with Mercedes-AMG engineers to co-design the V6 hybrid Formula One engine and develops fuels, lubricants and functional fluids that power the Silver Arrows.Position Purpose:The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the company's sales indirect channel in Spain and Portugal, in order to meet company’s business results.Furthermore he/she will be responsible for proposing the strategy to develop the sector of reference, according to the company strategy and guidelines.Key Accountabilities:
  • Developing and implementing territory and third parties’ sales strategies aimed at strengthening the company's market position and profitability.
  • Implementing and establishing sales policies, procedures and practices in compliance with the company’s requirements.
  • Select, develop and strengthen business partners to ensure sustainable results.
  • Ensure territory and key account sales goals are achieved through an effective and motivated sales team, key account sales staff and support professionals.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators both commercial and financials for the implemented sales strategies.
  • Identifying business opportunities and pinpoints problem areas.
  • Ensure collaboration with marketing, supply chain and finance functions, supervising their joint work with distribution channels.
The role reports to the Business Head Iberia.Qualifications & Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics or any related fields.
  • MBA is a plus
Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
  • Al least 10 years’ experience in commercial area.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and lubricants sector
  • Good knowledge of IT Tools (MS Office, SAP).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM
  • Able to interact in Portuguese language
  • Spanish and English language is mandatory
