
EXECUTION TECHNICAL LEADER - PROJECT COORDINATOR

- Act as the leader of complex technical integrated solutions and be the single point of contact regarding all project technical topics.
- Make sure our solution answer to customer requirements in compliance with the contract.
- Develop engineering and lead a technical team composed of other “customer design engineers” or "customer project technical engineers" (i.e. DPT3, DPT4) and ensure technical coordination of all projects stakeholders.
- Coordinate all technical solutions of customer complex integrated projects.
- Master technical risks of the overall technical solution designed and delivered.
- 4/5 years in leading full technical scope of large & international customer projects.
- Technical experience in Oil&Gas, Mining&Minerals&Metals, Power Plants and/or Data Center segments in E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) projects in customer application/process is a plus.
- Experience in projects execution with equipment’s of Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, Uninterruptible Power Supply and/or Process Control Areas is a plus.
- Be accountable of the technical solution, in line with customer requirements and project strategy.
- Make sure the project technical team is aligned with the project strategy.
- Support Project Manager on the accountability of the overall technical budget and planning of the project.
- Support Project Manager on facilitating & prioritizing all technical activities with factories or suppliers.
- Work in close collaboration with Project Manager
- Act as a single point of contact for all project stakeholders (including customer) regarding the technical strategy and major technical decisions of the project.
- Ensure good communication to the project team regarding technical decisions and strategy of the project.
- Master the technical risks & opportunities of the project.
- Support Project Manager on conducting change management.
- Work closely with Project Manager to present and negotiate major changes implications for Schneider Electric until getting a variation orders.
- Alert Project Manager and Management of any issue that could affect the project performance or customer satisfaction.
- Lead technical strategy in line with customer.
- Take the proper technical decision to ensure project interest and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the key and trusty contact person for all technical topics related to the project.
- Be accountable that project is following Schneider Electric processes.
- Act as role model and/or coach junior technical engineers.
- Ensure that all H&S rules are accomplish by the team, to promote a health and safety work environment
- Be connected with LoBs and Schneider Electric Management to ensure good communication & knowledge of project technical challenges and decisions.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Other Master’s degrees with strong electrical component could be accepted.
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Speak both languages are a plus advantage.
- Fluent English (min B2 / C1).
- Other languages are a plus.
- Availability to work on Iberia area (Spain and Portugal, islands included). Approximately 30 to 40% of the time in the plant/customer house.
- Possibility of traveling outside the Iberian area (Europe, Middle East, Africa, etc.).
- Ability to think out of the box and take decisions in complex and risky context.
- Ability to communicate (written, verbal) clearly in concise and synthetic manner on complex technical strategy.
- Ability to lead with agility in a complex & matrix environment.
- Ability to convince stakeholders on the proper project technical strategy.
- Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently.
