- Performance Evaluation & Development: Lead technical activities for evaluation, development, and tuning of chassis systems, focusing on:
- Ride comfort and quality
- Vehicle handling dynamics
- Steering response
- Advanced Chassis Systems Integration: Work with sophisticated chassis technologies including air springs, continuous damping control, rear wheel steering, torque vectoring, steer by wire and other cutting-edge systems
- Target Setting & Collaboration: Work closely with vehicle and subsystem manufacturers to establish performance targets and technical specifications
- Vehicle Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing programs on open roads and proving grounds to validate chassis performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Advanced Tuning: Execute chassis tuning activities for both passive and active systems to achieve desired performance levels and meet customer specifications
- Project Management: Provide technical program management support throughout the development process
- Vehicle Dynamics Team Integration: Collaborate effectively with objective testing, CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering), and chassis design teams using solid understanding of vehicle dynamics fundamentals
- Workshop Coordination: Interface with workshop technicians for vehicle preparation and set-up changes
- Parts Specification Management: Oversee and manage parts specifications, ensuring proper component selection throughout the tuning
- Proposal Development: Support the Chassis Testing Product Manager in drafting technical proposals and preparing competitive quotations for potential clients
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Mechatronics
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chassis tuning with demonstrated expertise in:
- Chassis subjective evaluation criteria
- Advanced tuning methodologies
- Vehicle dynamics optimization
- Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics fundamentals enabling effective communication across multidisciplinary teams
- Proven experience with advanced chassis systems such as (not all of them are required):
- Air springs and adaptive suspension systems
- Continuous damping control (CDC/EDC)
- Rear wheel steering systems
- Torque vectoring technologies
- Active chassis control systems
- Semi-active and fully active suspension systems
- Strong foundation in vehicle dynamics and automotive technology
- Experience with Driving Simulators (preferred but not required)
- Outstanding driving capabilities with refined vehicle motion sensitivity and feedback interpretation
- Expert-level subjective evaluation skills for chassis performance assessment
- Ability to communicate vehicle behavior through precise technical language and documentation
- Proven track record in translating subjective driving impressions into objective technical requirements
- Testing Capability: Willingness and ability to perform extensive testing in proving ground environments
- Workshop Management: Strong ability to interact with and direct workshop technicians for vehicle preparation and modifications
- Parts Management: Experience in managing component specifications, sourcing, and technical documentation
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with different teams:

- Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both technical and business contexts
