YOUR IMPACTJoining the OpenText Southern Europe legal team means being part of a group of friendly and supportive people where respect and exchanges of thoughts between them are put first. You will become a key full-time collaborator, playing a decisive role in the execution of the missions entrusted to team members.WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  • Drafting in Spanish, French, and English languages as well as negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, including cloud, license, and professional service contracts across a wide range of software offerings
  • Providing dedicated legal support to sales teams based in Southern Europe (area of support includes France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal), helping them to close deals in a quarter-driven environment
  • Working as part of the global legal team on initiatives to improve legal provision across OT
  • Building positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business to enable you to obtain up-to-date information and provide excellent solutions to negotiation issues
  • Working towards a deeper knowledge of our business and how best to support it
  • Handling general corporate matters, resolving commercial disputes, and dealing with data protection considerations
  • Not to mention the fact that carrying out the above assignments will enable you to develop your knowledge and expertise in all these fields
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • This role requires advanced/native fluency in Spanish, French, and English, as it involves, as stated above, drafting and negotiating contracts in those languages
  • You have at least 12 years’ post-qualified experience
  • You are flexible and might, for instance, be moving from private practice or may already be in-house
  • You are commercially minded, keen to learn about business, and to embed yourself as a key part of it
  • You are enthusiastic, hard-working, and you enjoy working in a team environment
  • You can manage your own case load confidently and assertively, but flexible and professional
  • You are a problem solver and can provide commercially focused advice in a time-pressured environment
