- Strategic relationship building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Banking and Fintech sectors across Italy and Spain by actively participating in high-profile industry events, conferences, and networking activities tailored to each country.
- Partnership development and deal closure: Identify, negotiate, and close high-value deals and long-term partnerships with top-tier players in the Iberian region, maximizing revenue potential and aligning with papernest’s strategic objectives.
- Partner management and revenue growth: Oversee the management of closed partnerships, including developing revenue streams, defining strategic roadmaps, leading partner marketing initiatives, and reporting performance metrics to ensure sustained growth and alignment with business goals.
- Market expansion and customer acquisition: Explore and develop innovative distribution channels specific to Italy and Spain to enhance papernest’s market reach. Design and implement new customer acquisition paths to optimize performance and drive scalable growth across the region.
- Cross-country coordination: Align strategies across Italy and Spain to ensure cohesive regional operations, adapting approaches to account for cultural, regulatory, and market-specific nuances in each country.
- Minimum of 10 years in a senior strategic sales or business development role (strategic partnerships, large account management, or key account business development) and/or experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
- Proven experience in a scale-up or operational environment is highly desirable.
- Graduate of a top-tier business school.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and negotiate with C-level executives (CEOs, CFOs) of major banks and real estate firms across Italy and Spain.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and a keen interest in developing advanced analytical skills (SQL or similar tools).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to diverse market dynamics and cultural contexts within the Iberian region.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic scale-up environment.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting strategies to meet the unique needs of Italy and Spain.
- Native or fluent in Spanish; proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.
