- Identify and source high-potential startups across the Paris-managed industries.
- Attend calls and meetings with startups to assess solutions, scalability, and relevance for corporate partners.
- Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date dealflow pipeline for multiple industry verticals.
- Build and nurture relationships with VCs, accelerators, universities, corporations, and other ecosystem players in France and internationally.
- Actively network with startup founders at industry events, meetups, and conferences to uncover new opportunities.
- Maintain strong and lasting relationships with industry partners to enable strategic introductions.
- Schedule and facilitate dealflow meetings between startups and corporate partners.
- Curate custom startup lists tailored to each partner’s technology interests and strategic objectives.
- Track and report engagement KPIs such as startup introductions, pilots launched, and partnerships signed.
- Support senior Ventures team members on investment opportunities from sourcing to closing.
- Conduct due diligence on target startups, including market research, competitive analysis, business model review, and cap table assessment.
- Contribute to investment recommendation memos and present findings to the Ventures team.
- Assist portfolio companies post-investment through partner introductions and market access initiatives.
- Education: Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field from Tier 1 Schools.
- Experience: Previous exposure to startups, venture capital, innovation consulting, or one of the target industries is a plus.
- Passion for emerging technologies
- Understanding of startup financing, venture capital, and growth metrics.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities across diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives and VC partners.
- Strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving mindset.
- Professional English proficiency required; French and/or German is a plus.
