Position for an innovation consultant with hands-on experience in EU proposal writing. Hybrid position located in Madrid to become part of the team long-term. Competitive salary range depending on candidate experience and training (fixed wage + bonuses for approved project proposals).
  • EXPERIENCE LEVEL: intermediate (3+ years of experience & 4-5 EU proposals in your background).
  • AREA THIS POSITION BELONGS TO: proposal writing and project management.
  • MANDATORY: C2 English & Spanish level. Experience writing at least 2 full EU-level collaborative proposals (+10 partners). Scientific university degree at master’s level (agricultural engineering, biotechnology, environmental sciences, biology…etc). +

We are looking for an experienced professional with a scientific technical background in agricultural engineering or related areas to become part of our team long-term. Someone with at least 3 years of professional experience and who has already written 4-5 EU proposals (H2020, BBI JU, CBE JU, HE Cluster 6…etc.). This post is not meant to provide training in those areas, candidates are expected to understand how they work and be able to start writing with a high level of independence.TasksThis position is meant for an experienced proposal writer able to carry out a full proposal on its own with limited supervision.At Innovarum Innovation consultants support both proposal writing and project management areas. Project proposals usually include technical benchmarking of a proposed solution, elaboration of market studies and business plans, development of work plans, etc. Project management activities cover similar areas and delve into project implementation. Both areas are always supervised by senior colleagues.RequirementsMANDATORY SKILLS * English & Spanish C2 level (proficiency) is MANDATORY, both oral and written. Refrain from applying if you do not fulfil this requirement!
  • 3+ years of experience, 4-5 EU proposals in your background (H2020, BBI JU, CBE JU, HE Cluster 6…etc.).
  • Technical Scientific University degree at master’s level: Agricultural engineering, biotechnology or related.
  • Experience in a technical position involving preparing reports, scientific papers, etc.
BONUS POINTS * Experience in grant managing: technical and financial reporting.
  • Background in business & economics and experience in team coordination
  • Knowledge about R&D and innovation public funding structure.
  • Other languages.
Benefits * A full-time (40h) hybrid position with a competitive salary range and options to stay long-term in the team. Fixed wage of 30,000-36,000€ gross/year + bonuses for approved project proposals.
