- Gain valuable skills in research, modelling, economic analysis, and client-facing communication.
- An ongoing MSc degree (ideally near completion) in Science, Engineering, or related fields. A background in chemical engineering / chemistry / process engineering (with a focus on low carbon fuels) would be particularly desirable.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following is required:
- Biomass or recycled-carbon feedstocks
- Production pathways for low-carbon fuels (biofuels, e-fuels, recycled carbon fuels)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following is desirable:
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation, SAF Mandate, ReFuelEU, CORSIA etc.
- Techno-economic analysis and market dynamics affecting the adoption of low-carbon transport fuels
- Knowledge of lifecycle assessments (LCA) and/or sustainability frameworks to evaluate the environmental impact of low carbon fuels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data to support evidence-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You can simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word are key).
- A collaborative mindset, you’re a team player who thrives in diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; other languages are a plus.
